What Is Included in Our 60‑Day Lead‑time

Please note: this 60‑day production time starts after the sample is fully approved by you, including design, material, color, embroidery and all technical details. It excludes sample‑making time and shipping transit time.

Raw material procurement & incoming inspection

Once the sample is fully approved, we source fabrics, filling, parts, trims and packing materials. All raw materials pass safety and quality checks before production starts. For IP‑licensed plush toys, we need materials that meet required standards, and this may take extra buying time.

Many buyers underestimate how long material preparation can take. Popular fabric colors may be out of stock from our suppliers. Some special soft plush fabrics need extra lead‑time for dyeing and surface treatment. We never use leftover or random stock materials to cut corners. Every batch of material must match the colour and feel you confirmed on the sample. If raw materials fail our incoming checks, we will reject them and re‑order new stock, even if this adds a few extra days. We would rather adjust the timeline than use sub‑standard materials for your goods.

Pre‑production preparation

Pattern adjustment, cutting‑tool tuning, sewing template setup and work briefings for factory workers. Custom plush toys with complex shapes, multi‑color prints or fine embroidery require more pre‑production work to prevent quality problems on full‑order goods.

Before mass work begins, our technical team will make a small pre‑production test run. We make several trial pieces using the real production tools and materials. This step helps us catch hidden issues such as loose stitching, misaligned prints or uneven stuffing. Only after these test pieces pass internal checks can the whole production line start. This small test run greatly reduces mistakes once hundreds or thousands of toys are being made.

Mass‑production manufacturing

Steps include fabric cutting, sewing, filling, shaping, embroidery / printing and trimming. Every plush toy is shaped by hand. High‑quality plush products require lots of manual work.

Multi‑round quality control

On‑site checks during production, full inspection for finished goods, safety checks for sharp edges, small‑part risks and fabric strength. For markets with strict safety rules, we can arrange third‑party lab tests upon your request.

Final packing & container loading

Custom gift boxes, polybags, inner cartons and export master cartons. After final audit, goods will be arranged for container loading.

A: It depends on your project details. If our production schedule has spare capacity and your design is simple with standard fabrics and regular packing, we may be able to squeeze in a shorter timeline. Please share your target delivery date with our sales team at the very beginning, so we can check feasibility for you. We cannot cut corners on quality even for urgent orders.

Q2: Will extra costs occur if production takes longer than 60 days?

A: No extra factory‑side charges will be caused by normal production‑related delays. If delays come from your side, such as late sample feedback, repeated design changes or delayed confirmation of packing details, the production window will be pushed back accordingly with no extra fees from our factory.
